This Activity Book contains sets of stand-alone activities which are ideal for either a learning centre, homework challenge or general library or classroom lessons.
Develop and enhance thinking and creativity skills.
Half of the activities are cyber challenges and students will be directed to a website (easily accessed through the Ready-Ed website) in order to complete the activity.
All activities are outcome linked to the English, Society & Environment (SOSE / HSIE) and Science curriculum documents.
In this book, students will understand the reasons why some animals have become endangered and outline conservation efforts to protect the animals from extinction. There are several fact pages on the 'famous' endangered species such as the giant panda, the rhinoceros and the whale, however, there is also a strong emphasis on some of the lesser known endangered species, such as the leafy sea dragon, the manatee, the harlequin frog and the northern hairy-nosed wombat.
This Activity Book is designed to be used with the Endangered Animals Resource Book (sold separately - REP-936).
